A Plus Accountancy & Business Solutions Limited was established in 2006 after Sarah identified a need to provide a completely bespoke service which would put each client’s individual needs at the centre of the service they received. Jamie joined her shortly after and together they continue to provide support and advice of the highest quality.
Sarah Fullstone FMAAT, ATT
Sarah is a Fellow Member of The Association of Accounting Technicians and a member of The Association of Taxation Technicians.
She was educated at Court Fields Community School in Wellington, before spending one year at Millfield School in Street. At that time her interest lay wholly in equestrian sports and she initially worked within the sphere of National Hunt racing.
After approximately six years, Sarah decided upon a change of career and embarked upon studying for her accountancy qualifications whilst gaining practical knowledge at two local firms. Whilst she still maintains an avid interest in horse racing, and indeed rides out for a local trainer for whom the firm sponsors a number of successful horses, her time is mostly spent ensuring that clients are in receipt of the very best services possible.
Her experience has proved invaluable not only to local clients but to those nationally and internationally, who recognise the benefits of the professional relationship and are thus determined to maintain the association from further afield.
Jamie Webber ACCA, MAAT
Jamie is a Member of The Association of Accounting Technicians and qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2007.
Jamie has always lived in Wellington and attended Court Fields Community School, before studying for A-levels at Richard Huish College, Taunton. Thereafter, he made a conscious decision not to take the university route to qualification, instead undertaking a Modern Apprenticeship, continuing to study alongside a work placement in order to gain practical experience and thereby reaffirm his acquired knowledge.
He takes a particular interest in IT related technical issues and is very enthusiastic about working alongside clients to ensure compliance with automatic enrolment for employers, and support them through the transition to digital tax, with a view to achieving efficiency within their systems.
Jamie’s practical approach to everyday issues is always appreciated by clients and his role is fundamental to the efficiency of the firm as a whole.
Liz started out as an office junior in an accounts firm after leaving school, then worked in the hospitality industry in Greece for two years. On returning to the UK she studied and qualified as a careers adviser based in schools, colleges and job centres in Somerset; a role she enjoyed for over 10 years.
A move into volunteer recruitment for a conservation charity followed, before joining A Plus as the Office Administrator in 2015. Having experienced a wide range of roles and work environments throughout her career Liz has the ability to identify development opportunities for administration processes and systems, and premises requirements, allowing for the business to run as efficiently as possible.
Liz is often the first point of contact for our clients and enjoys the day-to-day variety the role brings.
